Smith Springs Baptist Church Update - August 2026

At Shelter, we believe that church planting is God's primary means of advancing the Great Commission. That's why we're committed to both supporting healthy, gospel-centered churches and, by God's grace, planting churches from within our own congregation.

This month, we're highlighting one of the church plants we have the privilege of supporting—Smith Springs Baptist. In the video below, Pastor Michael Darbouze shares an update on the church's reopening, upcoming milestones, specific prayer requests, and practical ways you can partner with their ministry.

Pictured above is Smith Springs Baptist, where you'll notice there is currently no pathway leading to the front entrance.
